Understanding Michael Jackson

Like many, I've never really understood Michael Jackson. I've always appreciated "Billy Jean." But lately, besides the child molestation charges, I've begun to understand Michael Jackson a little more.

I, like many, never understood the skin change Jackson underwent. Why would he want to be white? it's a common question in relation. But then I discovered Jackson suffers from Vitiligo. It all started to make a little more sense.

Another question always bubbling in relation to Jackson, is why does he always cover up when outside? I mean he goes to extensive measures to "hide" from what I thought was the public. But recently I discovered, Jackson has Lupus. Anyone with Lupus understands that exposure to UV-rays triggers Lupus flare-ups. Thus, I realized, Jackson is just taking precautionary measures in relation to his diseases (Vitiligo is also worsened by sun exposure).

I still can't explain the child molestation charges.. but I am starting to understand why, perhaps, Jackson named his child Blanket. Blankets protect from the sun, so maybe he was fondly naming his child after something that protects him?

Anyways, I am starting to feel, as a Sicko, I should have a little more sympathy for Jackson's odd choice of life style. After all, perhaps many question why I always carry around elmo juice boxes (low blood sugar). Or why is my purse so freakin big all the time? (it's a carry-around pharmacy). Like I said, I'm not a fan of people creepy to children. But I can sort of see why Jackson does sometimes what he does. Maybe we need to be a little more open-minded to alternative life styles- so long as they don't hurt anyone else.
